Job Overview

As a Python Web Developer with expertise in Cloud Computing and database technologies, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications. You will leverage your skills in Python, cloud platforms, NoSQL, and object-based databases to build scalable and efficient solutions. Your role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize applications that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Web Development: Develop and maintain web applications using Python frameworks. We don't use Django and hence experience in Django may not be relevant.

• Cloud Computing: Design, deploy, and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Database Management: Work with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and object-based databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

• API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end systems and third-party services.

• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.

• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Security: Implement security best practices to protect applications and data.

• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application functionality and reliability.

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and system configurations.

Qualifications

• Education: BE, BTech and or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology

• Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Python Developer for 3-5 years.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and object-based databases.
  • Experience with Python web frameworks like Django or Flask.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and related libraries.
• Knowledge of cloud computing principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of API design and development.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Understanding and implementation experience of Django and Django ORM

Soft Skills:

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and feedback.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
