ABOUT LENOX PARK SOLUTIONS

Lenox Park Solutions’ mission is to use collaborative technology and data science to democratize opportunity access, primarily in the financial services industry.
Lenox Park Solutions is an early-stage FinTech company developing innovative tools and resources to enhance collaboration and data-driven decision-making for investors and financial professionals. With a strong foundation in investment banking and asset management, the company has honed technological best practices through partnerships with some of the world’s most respected investment firms.
At the core of Lenox Park Solutions’ offerings is ‘RoundTables’, an exclusive, cloud-based data platform, which enables organizations to efficiently and securely gather and centralize relevant metrics and data. This allows decision makers to measure ‘Impact’ to inform and assess investment decisions. Lenox Park Solutions has successfully introduced its technology to the marketplace, attracting a prestigious client base that includes some of the most sophisticated and globally well-respected investment institutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a fractional UX/UI DESIGN PARTNER (an independent designer or a small design firm) to bring dedicated design attention to RoundTables, Lenox Park Solutions’ platform. The engagement reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and works in close, hands-on collaboration with the engineering team, the Product Manager, and the client services team; the colleagues on the front lines with the platform’s day-to-day users and with the clients who rely on RoundTables for reporting and survey administration. This is the company’s first dedicated design role: to date, design has been handled in-house only informally, by team members whose primary responsibilities lay elsewhere, and bringing in focused design expertise is a deliberate next step for a maturing platform.
Lenox Park Solutions has invested substantially in RoundTables including professional design work delivered through a previous external design engagement and the platform already serves a sophisticated client base. This is not a rebuild or a redesign from scratch; it is an opportunity to take strong, established work and make it better for the people who use it. The focus is on enhancing the experience of current users: bringing greater consistency to the design, refining the most important workflows, and closing the gap between design intent and what reaches production. A core part of the engagement is developing a deep understanding of the user journey which may include research with Lenox Park’s clients and the asset owners, asset managers, and survey administrators who use RoundTables ensuring design decisions are grounded in real use.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

As Lenox Park Solutions’ UX/UI Design Partner you will:

  1. Work with the platform as it exists today and make it clearer, more consistent, and easier to use.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of the RoundTables user journey including, where useful, research with clients and end users, and apply it to refine the platform’s most important experiences, such as the dashboards and workflows used by survey hosts, survey takers, and administrators, the survey-taking experience, the manager impact report, and contact-list management.
  3. Bring consistency to the platform’s existing design language, establishing clear, brand-aligned standards and reusable patterns in Figma so design and engineering stay aligned and new work ships faithfully.
  4. Collaborate closely and iteratively with the engineering team, the Product Manager, and the client services team, producing development-ready specifications and handoff documentation so that what reaches production matches what was designed.

The ideal designer or firm brings:

  1. Demonstrated experience designing and shipping B2B SaaS or data-platform interfaces, ideally complex, data-dense web applications, supported by a portfolio of end-to-end UX and UI work.
  2. A strong UX foundation in user research, role-based information architecture, and user-journey mapping, with the ability to translate how a product is actually used into clear, prioritized design improvements.
  3. Proven skill in working within an existing product, refining and enhancing live interfaces and bringing consistency to an established design language, rather than rebuilding from the ground up.
  4. Fluency with Figma for design standards, reusable components, and accessible, WCAG-aligned patterns, alongside a rigorous, developer-ready handoff practice that keeps production output faithful to the agreed design.
  5. A self-directed, collaborative operating style suited to a fractional, milestone-based independent engagement, and comfort working hands-on alongside an internal engineering, product, and client services team.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This is a fractional, independent-contractor engagement rather than a salaried employee position, and compensation is milestone-based rather than hourly. Each phase of work, from user-journey research through refined platform workflows, design standards, and developer handoff, is tied to a defined deliverable and a fixed fee agreed in advance, so investment is predictable and linked directly to completed outcomes.
• Independent-contractor (1099) engagement; open to either an individual designer or a design firm.
• Compensation structured as fixed fees tied to agreed project milestones and deliverables, rather than hourly billing.
• Milestones, deliverables, and fees defined and scheduled with the selected designer or firm before work begins, with payment on acceptance of each completed milestone.
• A fractional, project-scoped engagement, with the possibility of an ongoing design retainer once the initial milestones are complete.

BENEFITS

As an independent-contractor engagement, this role is not eligible for the employee benefits programs offered to Lenox Park Solutions’ US-based staff which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, health and wellness reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan.

LOCATION

Remote. Lenox Park Solutions’ staff work remotely, as we believe team members are most productive when they live in the places they choose and establish schedules that offer flexibility. Certain meetings may take place in person and require physical presence in New York City.

COME WORK WITH US!

If this opportunity sounds appealing to you, please email a resume and a portfolio — or, for firms, representative case studies — to [email protected]. A brief note describing relevant SaaS or data-platform design work and your approach to design systems is encouraged but optional.

*DEADLINE TO APPLY: *Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

OPTIMIZING HUMAN CAPITAL

At Lenox Park, we measure diversity rather than describe it. We built the Lenox Park Impact Score (LPI), in collaboration with our clients, to benchmark human capital optimization across ownership, leadership, and workforce on both gender and racial/ethnic dimensions, and we hold our own firm to the standard we set for everyone else. In an industry not known for representation, the numbers speak plainly: Lenox Park ranks in the 94th percentile of 3,249 asset management firms on the RoundTables platform overall, and in the 95th percentile for racial representation across our workforce. We are equally committed to building an environment where colleagues who identify as LGBTQIA+, as neurodivergent, or as religious minorities feel genuinely welcomed and where gender representation, in the 74th percentile of firms on the platform, keeps improving as we grow. If you want to do excellent work somewhere that measures what it claims to value and holds itself to it, you’ll be in good company here.

OUR HOPE

We continue to assemble exceptionally talented and diverse individuals, so our firm has the best chance of maintaining the trajectory of success we have established to date. Individuals who have found the most comprehensive forms of success and fulfillment at Lenox Park Solutions tend to align with our mission. They also exhibit professionalism, natural curiosity about the finance or technology arenas, and an eagerness to learn. We value individuals who have a record of great judgement and a keen interest in developing themselves and the team around them. We are driven by a mission that prioritizes representation and opportunity. We hold ourselves accountable to setting an example, and being the change we want to see in the world.
