Designers at Health Vectors:
Designers lead the full lifecycle of their designs across all platforms, collaborate with product managers on strategy, participate in research to test and validate designs, and partner with engineering to make everything come to life.
What You Get To Do Every Day:
Work on major feature initiatives from concept to delivery
Meaningfully collaborate with Product Managers on product specs.
Pair with engineers to realize your designs on all platforms (web, iOS, Android).
Be constantly on the lookout for best practices, design patterns and anti-patterns, throughout various industries and platforms.
Participate in sprint planning and roadmap discussions.
Be a key player on a small but mighty team making a huge impact.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Working with product/business stakeholders in defining user requirements and processes.
- Facilitating the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products. Identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions.
- Working with product managers other key stakeholders to prioritizing design effort and execution of projects.
- Taking a user-centered design approach and rapidly testing and iterating designs.
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user journeys, mock-ups and proof of concepts (POCs) optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Developing the visual and interactive elements of the user experience and refine a polished design, taking into consideration typography, iconography, layout and brand identity.
- Proactively testing concepts to ensure users are integral to the design process.
What are we looking for:
- A foundation in product, interaction, visual, and marketing design
- 0-3 years of experience with UX/UI field with a portfolio of design work that demonstrates the same
- Expertise in one or more of Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Sketch.
- Video creation and editing capabilities using inVideo or similar tools expected.
- Empathize the users and inform design solutions based on research and analytical data
- Design simple, easy-to-use flows and experiences for our web and mobile applications
- Define the journey, user experience and product-use documentation for the products you work upon
- Work closely with the Product Team, Frontend, Mobile Engineers to ensure the craft and finish of every detail in the product
- Participate in design relating to marketing and branding
- To work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
- An understanding of web technologies and how developers seek to leverage design output.
- Skills to create the ideal user experience.
- Experience in applying best practices to design solutions.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
- Enthusiastic, motivated and brimming with ideas.
- Are passionate about the latest developments in technology.
