Living Stones Foundation is a mission-driven nonprofit building a next-generation platform at the intersection of social impact, data, and global funding.
We are currently in the proof-of-concept stage, working to connect nonprofits across Latin America with funding opportunities, government programs, and international partners in the U.S. and Canada.
This is a unique opportunity to join early and help shape the financial and funding strategy of a globally focused initiative.
🎯 Your Mission
As a Funding & Financial Specialist, you will help design and execute the financial strategy that enables our projects to scale and sustain impact.
🧩 What You’ll Do
💰 Financial Strategy & Modeling
Build financial projections, revenue models, and funding scenarios
Support pitch decks and financial storytelling for donors and partners
🤝 Fundraising & Grants
Identify and pursue funding sources (grants, donors, crowdfunding)
Support grant research and funding strategy across regions
Explore sustainable funding models for long-term impact
📊 Strategic Allocation (Future-Focused)
Help design frameworks for allocating funds across projects
Contribute to impact-driven investment thinking aligned with our mission
✅ Requirements
3+ years of experience in finance, strategy, consulting, or nonprofit environments
Strong understanding of U.S. nonprofit frameworks (compliance knowledge is a plus)
Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel required; Power BI is a plus)
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field
(MBA / CPA is a plus)
🌎 Language Requirement
Spanish (fluent) is required.
You will collaborate with stakeholders across the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and Spain, including government agencies, grant programs, and nonprofit and private-sector partners.
Strong English–Spanish communication is essential for cross-border coordination and fundraising efforts.
⭐ Nice to Have
Experience with grant writing or donor relations
Background in startups, consulting, or high-impact nonprofits
Interest in social impact, technology, and global development
🤝 Commitment
Minimum 4 hours per week
Weekly meeting (30–60 min)
Availability: Mon–Wed (12 PM – 5:30 PM ET)
