Upwell Water Associate, Sr. Associate, Vice President

Upwell Water is a tech-enabled water resource and infrastructure company. We own lines of business in water utilities, supply, and treatment to address aging infrastructure, scarcity, and pollution, respectively. Customers receive water as they would from their utility - without requiring an upfront payment. We are one of the fastest growing private water solution providers, backed by insitutional private equity investment firms.

Upwell Water is hiring for a role that combines finance and operations.

You will be responsible for internal modeling, financial planning and analysis, as well as supporting new acquisitions and financings, and you will also play a key role in business operations.

**REQUIREMENTS:

• Deep experience in company valuation, Excel financial modeling and investment analysis, and due diligence. You must be an excellent modeler and enjoy living and thinking in Excel.
• You must have worked in private equity, project finance, at a hedge fund, or as an investment banker. Time at McKinsey, BCG, or Bain could also fit if you have relevant valuation and modeling experience (e.g. working on cases for PE firms).
• Fun, happy, high energy, positive attitude, able to do anything but above nothing.
• Presence to be effective in a room with C-level executives of big companies and heads of top investment firms.
• Able to do anything, but above nothing.
• Interest in business operations is required, but prior operations experience is not.
• Preference for in-person at our office in midtown New York City, but partially or fully remote could be acceptable.
• Prior water industry experience is not expected.
