As we expand our presence in South India, we aim to build partnerships with temples and local spiritual organizations, and design transformative itineraries to destinations like Rameswaram, Tirupati, Madurai, Kanchipuram, Guruvayur, Sabarimala, Udupi, Sringeri, Kanyakumari, and Chidambaram.

Position Overview:

The South India Spiritual Tourism Expert will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Dharmikvibes’ South Indian pilgrimage experiences. The role requires someone deeply rooted in South Indian culture, fluent in multiple regional languages, and capable of developing long-term relationships with temples, local guides, and tourism boards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Temple & Community Partnerships

Identify and establish partnerships with major temples, mutts, and trust authorities in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

Build collaborations for special darshan packages, spiritual events, and cultural experiences.

Coordinate with temple managements for group visits, rituals, or guided temple experiences.

2. Itinerary & Experience Design

Curate spiritual travel itineraries combining temples, heritage, and cultural immersion (e.g., Rameswaram–Madurai–Kanyakumari circuit).

Ensure seamless arrangements for accommodation, transport, meals, and pooja bookings.

Incorporate traditional wellness, local cuisine, and devotional activities to enhance spiritual depth.

3. Operations & Coordination

Liaise with local travel partners, hoteliers, and transportation providers.

Supervise yatra logistics and pilgrim support during tours.

Handle permits, darshan scheduling, and communication with local authorities.

4. Marketing & Outreach

Assist Dharmikvibes in developing temple-based promotional content and digital campaigns.

Participate in religious tourism fairs or temple festivals to represent Dharmikvibes.

Develop region-specific promotional materials in South Indian languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate in Tourism, Cultural Studies, or related fields (Master’s preferred).

2–4 years of experience in tourism, travel operations, or temple/yatra management.

Familiarity with major South Indian pilgrimage routes and temple traditions.

Fluency in English and at least two South Indian languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam).

Basic knowledge of North Indian pilgrimage circuits is an advantage.

Skills & Attributes:

Deep respect for Hindu spirituality and temple culture.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented in planning itineraries.

Multilingual fluency and cultural sensitivity.

Comfort with travel across South India and occasional field visits.

Compensation:

Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (negotiable for experienced candidates).
