About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with extensive experience in building
scalable product solutions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Node.js and capable of
contributing individually to high-impact projects. You will be responsible for designing,
developing, and maintaining the backend architecture, ensuring high performance and
responsiveness to requests.

Key Responsibilities
● Architect, design, and implement scalable backend solutions for high-traffic and complex applications.
● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Node.js while ensuring responsiveness and high performance.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and designers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
● Identify bottlenecks and performance issues and develop optimizations to improve system performance.
● Integrate with third-party services, APIs, and databases to build end-to-end solutions.
● Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.
● Implement security and data protection protocols in backend services.
● Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards.
● Stay updated with the latest trends in backend technologies and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications
● 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js.
● Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable backend solutions in production environments.
● Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
● Proficient in working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
● Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming.
● Experience in building high-performance systems, including performance tuning and optimization.
● Solid knowledge of version control tools like Git.
● Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
● Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and high-quality solutions.
● Ability to work independently as an individual contributor and take full ownership of the backend system.

Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with serverless architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
● Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSocket.
● Familiarity with DevOps practices, including logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
● Experience in leading backend projects or mentoring junior engineers.
