Position Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer Intern who is passionate about learning and building with Django (Python) on the backend and React JS on the frontend. As an intern, you'll be working closely with our small, collaborative team to develop, test, and iterate on the core features of our product.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have real responsibilities, contribute to the product's development from scratch, and be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle—from design to deployment.

This role will initially be for 6 months and can transform into a full time role depending upon performance during the internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features across the full stack using Django and React.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to develop new features and improve the user experience.
• Assist in building APIs, designing database schemas, and implementing frontend components.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Test, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to technical discussions, propose new ideas, and be involved in problem-solving.
• Learn and adapt quickly to new challenges in a startup environment.

Requirements

• Experience with Django (Python) and React JS. (Projects, coursework, or personal projects are acceptable.)
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub).
• Eagerness to work on both backend and frontend tasks.
• Passion for learning and solving complex problems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Self-driven with a proactive approach to tackling challenges.

If short listed, we will put you into the interview process which consists of 2 rounds.

• Round 1 is a take home assignment where will provide a small problem statement to build an application. The assignment will be small enough to be wrapped in a few hours. You will have 48 hours to make a submission.
• Round 2 will be an interview based on the submission. We will dive deeper into the technical details of your submission.
