Program Manager: Web3 Initiatives, Avalanche Foundation

In this role you will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of exciting Avalanche Foundation programs, while remaining aligned with the Foundation's strong strategy, commitments, and goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of key Avalanche Foundation programs, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s strategic vision
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define program objectives and scope
• Proactively conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Plan, initiate, and oversee the entire lifecycle of programs, from conception to execution
• Assemble and manage cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment
• Develop and maintain program schedules, timelines, and budget management to ensure program success
• Utilize cutting-edge tools and IT systems to monitor progress, streamline workflows, and manage resources effectively
• Oversee contracts, manage sub-contractors, and ensure that all guidelines and standards are consistently met
• Drive quality assurance, monitor program deliverables, and adjust plans to ensure targets are met or exceeded
• Prepare detailed status reports and present program updates, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders
• Cultivate a culture of innovation and adaptability, ensuring changes are implemented effectively to achieve program goals
• Evaluate and assess program outcomes to optimize future performance

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Proven experience within a Web3, blockchain, or crypto-focused organization
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate teams
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strong leadership qualities
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and financial management skills
• Deep understanding of program planning, risk management, and time management
• Relevant project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar), or significant equivalent experience
• Expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
• Proficiency in project management tools and software
• Hands-on experience with contract negotiation and conflict resolution
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to adapt strategies to a rapidly evolving industry landscape
• Must reside outside of the United States
