The opportunity
Web3 economy is currently severely underinsured: out of $1 trillion in crypto assets, less than 1% are insured. On the web3 security front, worth around $100 billion, things are not rosier: approximately 92% of smart contracts that experienced security breaches had undergone auditing.
We are looking for a Business Developer Manager able to skillfully tap into both opportunities: web3 coverage and active security. We will provide product and sales training to set you up for success. You will be:
- Managing the whole sales pipeline.
- Engaging with prospects via phone, personalised emails, and video conferencing.
- Identifying new accounts and qualifying new outbound and inbound sales opportunities.
- Working closely with CEO and Marketing to provide feedback on campaign performance, and improve lead qualification, and lead scoring.
- Developing, testing and iterating outbound campaigns to drive new outbound opportunities.
- Keeping detailed notes of activities and ensuring data cleanliness in CRM.
- Representing the company and educating prospects at trade shows, conferences, and private events. Some travel will be required.
- Supported by a Risk Analyst, a junior BD and the core team.
- Working fully remotely, based in the zone UTC +/-5h
You’ll bring:
- Solid BDM experience within the web3 technology sector.
- Experience building a pipeline by qualifying leads and developing opportunities.
- The initiative to seek out new ways of finding opportunities e.g. LinkedIn, Drift.
- Proficient in quickly grasping and presenting new products and technologies, with an emphasis on value propositions. Skilled in creating compelling sales pitches.
- Natural ability to convert leads into customers.
- Curiosity and an eagerness to learn.
- The ability to quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Unafraid to fail and quickly owns up to it.
- We’d love for you to have cybersecurity or insurance industry experience but it is not a requirement.
What we offer:
- Competitive salary based on experience (paid in USDT/USDC).
- Progressive tiered sales commission starting from 5% for the security line, and 10% for the coverage line.
- Token allocation 0.5m $UNO vested over 12 months.
