Job Overview:
As the Supply Lead for Pocket Network, you will take ownership of the node-running ecosystem, ensuring its stability, scalability, and efficiency. Your role will involve building and managing relationships with node operators, optimizing network supply, and driving initiatives to increase node diversity and resilience. You’ll work closely with the engineering and product teams to improve the node-running experience and collaborate with the community to foster an active and supportive environment for node operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ecosystem Management: Oversee and develop the Pocket Network’s node-running ecosystem, ensuring optimal network supply to meet demand and usage requirements.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships with current and prospective node operators, understanding their needs, addressing challenges, and promoting engagement through community events, workshops, and direct support.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze network performance data, identifying areas for improvement in node operations and efficiency. Develop initiatives to optimize node participation, geographic diversity, and operational performance.
- Incentive Design: Work with internal teams to design and refine incentive models that encourage a healthy balance between network supply and demand, ensuring sustainable and profitable operation for node runners.
- Education & Resources: Develop and maintain educational resources, onboarding materials, and best practices to support node operators in effectively managing and optimizing their nodes.
- Monitoring & Metrics: Track key metrics related to node uptime, performance, participation rates, and decentralization. Provide regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaboration with Engineering & Product: Partner with engineering to ensure node-running infrastructure supports network requirements, implement feedback from node operators, and drive initiatives that enhance the overall experience for the supply side.
Qualifications:
- Business Development focused role
- Experience Proven experience in managing decentralized networks or distributed systems, with a strong understanding of blockchain or Web3 infrastructure.
- Solid technical knowledge of node operations and requirements, including familiarity with containerization, network protocols, and monitoring tools.
- Community-building skills with experience in building, engaging and supporting a technical community, ideally in the context of developer or infrastructure ecosystems.
- Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to interpret complex metrics, assess network needs, and make recommendations for optimization and growth.
- Collaboration and communication skills to work across multiple departments, convey technical concepts clearly, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
