About the job
Mitigata is looking for an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive our brand's growth. This role will involve overseeing Mitigata’s marketing strategy, enhancing our brand visibility, and supporting lead generation initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and adept at translating cybersecurity solutions into impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy that aligns with Mitigata’s business goals, brand values, and sales objectives.
- Campaign Management: Design, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including social media, email, PPC, and content marketing, to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Content Strategy Collaboration: Collaborate with the content team on blogs, reports, and PR materials, ensuring topics align with Mitigata’s objectives and industry relevance.
- LinkedIn Marketing: Develop and execute a LinkedIn-specific strategy to expand Mitigata's reach among targeted audiences, including cybersecurity professionals, business leaders, and C-suite executives. Create and manage audience segments for tailored content, lead generation, and engagement on the platform.
- Audience Planning and Segmentation: Identify and create detailed audience segments to refine marketing approaches across various channels, enabling targeted and effective outreach for different buyer personas.
- Social Media Management: Oversee the social media strategy, driving engagement and growth across all channels. Increase community activity through active group participation and initiatives to encourage follower engagement.
- Community Building and Inorganic Marketing: Establish and manage community groups for cybersecurity discussions and insights, positioning Mitigata as a thought leader and fostering active participation.
- SEO and SEM Oversight: Work with the content and SEO team to ensure all web content is optimized for search engines and supports organic lead generation.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using insights to refine strategies and optimize ROI.
- PR for Monthly Reports: Manage public relations efforts around Mitigata’s monthly cyber insurance and cybersecurity reports to enhance visibility and establish authority in the industry.
- Event Planning and Management: Coordinate and manage webinars, virtual events, and conferences, including working with partners and vendors, promoting attendance, and ensuring seamless execution.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and content, to ensure cohesive messaging and unified efforts across departments.
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee a content calendar that aligns with campaign goals, including the regular production of blogs, social media posts, email newsletters, and industry reports.
- Support collaborative blog writing with subject matter experts to generate authoritative, value-rich content that appeals to Mitigata’s target audience.
- Ensure all marketing materials created in collaboration with designers and content creators are visually engaging and on-brand.
- Drive inorganic marketing efforts to boost brand awareness through targeted advertising and community engagement.
- Stay up-to-date on cybersecurity & insurance industry trends and innovations to keep Mitigata’s marketing strategies relevant and competitive.
Requirements
- Experience: Notable years of experience in marketing, preferably in the cybersecurity, technology, or B2B sectors.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and turn insights into actionable marketing strategies. Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans with a focus on driving measurable results.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing compelling messaging for various platforms and audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Cybersecurity or Technology: Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, risk management, and industry-specific marketing trends.
- Experience with Marketing Automation: Proficiency with marketing automation tools, such as HubSpot or Marketo, to manage campaigns and track lead conversion.
- SEO and Content Marketing: Experience in SEO best practices and content marketing strategies to drive organic growth and increase brand visibility.
