Reporting
Reporting is a foundational pillar of Adyen’s product offering. - Guide and mentor other engineers in advanced data engineering and architectural principles, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence across teams
- Inspire distributed teams to achieve shared goals
Who you are
- Experience in Big Data: Proven track record of 10+ years in engineering, with at least 5 years in a Senior or Staff Data Engineering role, preferably with a focus on financial reporting and analytics products
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of distributed data systems, tools, and languages such as: Python, PySpark, Airflow, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, Git. Experience with backend engineering is a plus

- Strong leadership and communication skills: Advocate for architectural decisions across teams and articulate complex data-related concepts and outcomes to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Self-starter: Capable of independently recognizing opportunities, architecting solutions, prioritizing, and owning projects
