Role: Backend Engineer with Infrastructure Expertise

Location: Full-time remote (Europe/UK) or hybrid (Amsterdam/London)

What You'll Do:

• Architect, develop, and refine backend systems for seamless payment flows, processing, and integrations.
• Drive the development of new features and improvements in the Cino app.
• Collaborate within a diverse, talented team to create scalable, robust solutions.
• Champion security and operational efficiency, ensuring our systems are prepared for rapid growth.

Who We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with significant exposure to infrastructure.
• Familiarity with payment systems (desirable), including issuing, acquiring, and payment flows.
• Experience with Kotlin (desirable)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Prior experience in startup environments is a big plus.
• Adaptability and the desire to thrive in a fast-moving, innovative space.
