As we enter our next phase of growth, Boon is looking for a full-time Marketing Manager to build awareness, elevate our community, and identify new ways to scale. We’re a startup, so agility is essential, and we’re looking for a marketer who knows how to balance growth with efficiency.
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager with a passion for brand building, community engagement, and strategic growth to join our team. You’ll play a key role in shaping and amplifying Boon’s voice, from developing campaigns that resonate with talent acquisition professionals to building relationships that extend our reach. A major aspect of this role will involve driving partnerships and overseeing our presence across community platforms, ensuring Boon remains a trusted, visible, and impactful brand. Equally important, you’ll help foster a vibrant, engaged community that thrives on meaningful connections and the unique value Boon offers.
Role Overview:
As Boon’s first dedicated marketing hire, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape and lead our marketing initiatives with support from fractional marketing leadership. In this role, you’ll develop and execute strategies to scale partner relationships, build our brand, and cultivate a vibrant community for talent acquisition professionals globally.
While we are currently heavily focused on our community, for the right candidate, this role can evolve into many things.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with existing partners, identifying ways to scale.
- Build, manage, and maintain Boon’s community platform.
- Develop a network of champions and influencers to grow Boon’s brand.
- Lead PR and media pitching efforts to drive top-of-funnel awareness.
- Oversee Boon’s online reputation on platforms like G2 and Capterra.
- Identify and execute initiatives to foster and grow the Boon community.
- Coordinate with external content agencies to drive SEO + social campaigns.
- Support Customer Success in ensuring onboarding materials are customer focused.
- Collaborate on event strategies to activate our community.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 3+ years in marketing, ideally within B2B SaaS. Experience in HR tech, people tech and/or recruiting is a plus.
- HubSpot Proficiency: Experience with HubSpot for campaign management, segmentation, and CRM.
- Creative Marketing Approach: Hands-on experience with guerrilla marketing and community-building tactics.
- Start-Up Mindset: Familiarity with startups or small, nimble teams.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and able to pivot as business needs evolve.
- Proactivity: Self-starter attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Community-First Mentality: Passion for community-building and high energy for engaging with professionals.
- Impact-Driven: A focus on connecting work to meaningful outcomes.
- Growth-Oriented: Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and tools as Boon grows.
