Job Overview:
We’re searching for our first Product Marketer—a resourceful, adaptable self-starter ready to make a lasting impact and help us build our brand in a competitive market. This is more than just a role; it's an opportunity to lead ARTERNAL's go-to-market strategy, shape our product’s identity, and drive adoption in the art sector. You’ll be the bridge between Product, Sales, and Client Success, translating technical features into compelling value propositions that resonate with both prospects and existing clients.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing Differentiation Strategies: Analyzing market trends and competitors to create unique positioning for ARTERNAL, translating this into messaging that empowers our sales and marketing teams.
- Crafting Product Messaging and Positioning: Collaborating closely with Product and Sales to highlight ARTERNAL’s unique value, ensuring that we resonate deeply with art galleries.
- Supporting Product Adoption: Partnering with Client Success and Product teams to develop strategies and materials that increase product adoption, especially for high-impact features like SmartMail.
- Supporting Branding Efforts: Leading broader marketing projects to enhance ARTERNAL’s brand, from impactful campaigns to client success stories that demonstrate our value.
- Content Development: Crafting case studies, product guides, and blog posts that directly speak to the needs and aspirations of our audience.
- Collaborating on Launches: Managing go-to-market strategies for new features, crafting launch plans, creating support content, and coordinating efforts across departments.
- Conducting Market Research: Keeping ARTERNAL at the forefront by continuously analyzing industry trends and using these insights to refine our approach.
- Measuring and Optimizing Campaigns: Tracking and refining campaigns through KPIs to continuously improve adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
Key Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, ideally within SaaS or technology, with a bonus for experience in tech-laggard or “dusty vertical” industries.
- Grit and Hustle: A hands-on approach and willingness to dive into everything from crafting content to executing campaigns. Prior startup experience is a big plus.
- Brand Savvy: Strong understanding of branding principles with a talent for integrating product marketing into larger brand initiatives.
- Collaborative: Proven ability to thrive in cross-functional environments, working closely with Product, Sales, and Client Success teams to align on messaging and positioning.
- Creative and Analytical: Ability to craft compelling, creative messages while also being data-driven, using analytics to inform and refine campaigns.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Skilled in translating complex technical features into clear, impactful marketing messages.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple projects and campaigns with a sense of ownership and attention to detail.
- Market Research: Skilled in competitive analysis and market research to inform positioning and differentiation strategies.
