The Role
As the Director of Product Management at Surfside, you will lead the product strategy and roadmap for our innovative advertising platform. You will manage a team of product managers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and work closely with executive leadership to drive product vision and growth. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our products meet market demands and deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Responsibilities
• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead and mentor the product management team, fostering a customer-centric culture.
• Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver products.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and requirements.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from conception to launch and iteration.
• Set and track key product metrics to assess performance and inform decisions.
• Present product plans and updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products.
• Strong understanding of the advertising technology or e-commerce industry.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with agile methodologies and product management tools.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels.
