Account Manager (Eastern/ Southern Europe)

As a Guide Community Specialist at ToursByLocals, your mission is to build strong relationships with guides and help them grow their bookings and offerings. Reporting to the Team Lead, you'll analyze market trends and develop strategies to help guides in Asia convert inquiries into bookings. This role requires direct experience with account management and a deep understanding of tourism trends and market insights.

Your primary goal will be to support our community of guides as their account manager, on how to effectively use our platform to provide a 5-star experience to travellers. Here’s how you’ll do that:

• Maintain clear and consistent communication across multiple channels, sharing best practices, in-depth market trends, and strategic insights with the guide community to encourage the implementation of these practices across different markets.
• Understand and align with the sales goals for your assigned areas, strategizing comprehensively to ensure the area meets or exceeds its targets, and pivoting strategy as needed throughout the season.
• Regularly monitor availability, conversion rates, and response times, and take action to improve these KPIs, while identifying strategic opportunities in your areas.
• Leverage data analysis to understand and make informed decisions that optimize area performance.

You are the right person for this role if you:

• Have 2+ years of direct account management experience
• Demonstrate a track record of effectively resolving issues and ensuring high partner satisfaction.
• Possess strong communication skills across phone, email, and messaging platforms, and enjoy collaborating to achieve shared goals.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment with a sales-focused mindset, taking pride in your work and making thoughtful decisions.
• Are analytical and use data to drive decisions, while being curious and resourceful in solving problems.
• Love to learn and grow – you challenge yourself to learn, fail, and constantly improve, whether through formal education or by gaining professional experience.

This is a full-time remote contract position, based out of Eastern or Southern Europe and compensation is paid monthly. As a contractor, you are responsible for ensuring you have the authorization to work in your country and will be responsible for complying with local tax regulations at your own expense.
