Each year, hundreds of thousands of businesses in the US shut down, and we’re dedicated to becoming the leading technology company that transforms this painful and bureaucratic experience into a smooth and compliant one. As part of our team, you’ll work directly with savvy founders, guiding them through the complexities of closing their ventures and helping them sell and optimize assets they have left. This is your chance to shape the future of business closures, providing crucial support to entrepreneurs before they move on to their next venture. Dive into a role where your expertise not only drives growth but also delivers meaningful, impactful solutions to a critical aspect of the startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships and trust with top Founders in the tech ecosystem who are going through the challenging experience of shutting down, serving as their trusted advisor
  • Full sales cycle role - includes and is not limited to prospecting, discovery, presenting, and closing business
  • Identify potential prospects through social, channel partners, or innovative outbound strategies
  • Qualify prospects and efficiently move them through the sales pipeline, adding value and addressing their pain points
  • Utilize sales tools and technology to manage accounts and opportunities throughout the sales cycle
  • Work closely with other sales members to improve the Go To Market Strategy, sharing new learnings and best practices

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • At least two years of sales or client facing experience (preferably in tech space)
  • Excellent communication skills and high EQ to articulate value proposition of SimpleClosure to Founders shutting down (it’s an emotional sale)
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Skilled in hunting for new business opportunities and a strong drive to succeed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced startup environment
