Insurance Specialist - Operations

Reports to Client Delivery Head

Job Overview
mea is looking for an experienced insurance specialist with expertise in the global P&C Commercial & Specialty (re)insurance market, with specific expertise in London Market and the US. He or she will be working as part of the client delivery team and working closely with the operations team, in providing expertise in understanding client specific needs and translating this to the operations team via; team training, data extraction, data validation, quality assurance and data annotation for training the AI models. The ideal candidate will combine deep industry knowledge of Insurance and (re)Insurance.

Responsibilities
· Operate as an integral, (re)Insurance expert member, of the global client delivery team
· Provide deep industry knowledge and insights to the team and guide them to extract and annotate data.
· Serve as a primary point of contact for (re)insurance-related inquiries and issues within the operations team, supported by the wider client delivery team.
· Participate in the extraction, quality assurance and annotation of (re)insurance data from various source and ensure the accuracy and completeness of extracted data in order to train our AI models
· Conduct training sessions for the team on (re)insurance concepts and data extraction techniques.
· Mentor team members to enhance their understanding and capabilities in (re)insurance data handling.
· Provide subject matter expertise to guide the development and refinement of AI models and algorithms.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in insurance/risk management or relevant field.
· Professional certification in insurance field preferred.
· 5-8 years of experience in insurance.
· Open to working in rotational shifts (UK/US time zone).
