Job Overview:
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Sales Executive for our team at TEQUITY. The candidate will actively take ownership of our sales process, support business growth, and foster relationships with our clients. If you have a passion for sales, have excellent communication skills, and love working in an exciting, fast-paced, people-facing environment, you’ll be a perfect match for our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and develop new business opportunities through various channels including cold calls, emails, and social media.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, understanding their needs and offering tailored IT solutions.
- Sales Presentations & Demos: Deliver persuasive sales presentations, product demos, and proposals to prospective clients.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets by closing deals with new clients and expanding services to existing clients.
- Market Research & Strategy: Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and emerging IT technologies to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and marketing teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial contact through service delivery.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate contract terms and close agreements to maximise profitability.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer contacts in CRM systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques
- Experience in lead generation and prospecting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel for client meetings
- Strong time management and organisational skills
Key Competencies:
- Excellent communication in written and spoken English.
- Should have prior experience in selling services or products in a B2B environment.
- Should have sold Deals worth Rs. 30Ls and above, and 'owned' annual quotas exceeding Rs. 2Crs.
- Should have experience in selling services or products to customers outside of India.
- Should have the ability to run outbound sales campaigns on Email and LinkedIn.
- Should be comfortable using CRMs (like Hubspot or Zoho), and sales enablement tools like Apollo, Lusha, Lemlist, and other softwares.
- Should have met or exceeded sales quotas in previous organisations.
- Should have demonstrable experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders to push a deal through to the finish line.
- Should have the ability to create custom presentations for different prospects.
- Should have the ability to create sales proposals from scratch and highlight various aspects like customer requirements, our solution, timelines, costing, and other requisites.
- Should be able to draft sales contracts from our existing template and follow up with clients to get the deal signed .
