Your Mission (If You’re Ready for It):

Key Responsibilities:

Scalable Architecture Design:

• Design and implement scalable system architectures utilising microservices, serverless frameworks, and distributed systems tailored for voice interaction platforms.
• Performance Optimization:
• Optimize system performance focusing on resource efficiency and latency reduction, particularly for real-time voice processing needs.
• Security Design:
• Enhance system security through advanced encryption practices, secure API access, and robust data protection mechanisms specific to voice data.

API Integration:

• Design and specify intuitive RESTful APIs to meet the functional requirements of voice-enabled services both internal and external.
• Develop middleware solutions to manage data flow, session states, and asynchronous service calls efficiently for voice interactions.
• Integrate various third-party voice services, managing different API protocols and authentication methods such as OAuth and API Keys.

Backend Development:

• Write clean, scalable code in backend languages such as Python, Go, suitable for voice processing applications.
• Manage SQL databases, ensuring fast data retrieval and support for high-volume voice interaction operations.
• Implement concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming techniques to support high-throughput voice systems.

Who Should Apply?

• You’ve got at least 2+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in SaaS, and you’ve worked with teams to deliver products that have made an impact.
• You’re not just a thinker, you’re a doer. You thrive in fast-paced, challenging environments where the ordinary ways are meant to be broken.
• You obsess over the fundamentals of engineering and math, and are a first principles thinker and doer who will not only solve the problem in a good enough manner, but will do it better and faster.
