Assistant IT Project Manager Required

We are looking for an experienced Assistant IT Project Manager to help coordinate and manage the seamless collaboration between our backend and frontend development teams, UI/UX designers, and client stakeholders. The ideal candidate will track project progress, monitor timelines, and ensure successful delivery within set deadlines and quality standards.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth project execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination & Communication:
• Act as a central point of contact between backend, frontend teams, UI/UX designers, and client stakeholders.
• Organize and lead regular project meetings to ensure that all teams are aligned and updated on tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
• Facilitate clear communication between developers and designers to ensure technical feasibility and design compatibility.

• Ensure that client feedback is clearly communicated to the technical teams and incorporated into the project workflow.

• Project Planning & Tracking:

• Assist the senior project manager in creating and maintaining detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resources.

• Track project progress using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and ensure that each task is being completed as planned.

• Monitor and document any changes to the project scope, timeline, and communicate impacts effectively to all stakeholders.

• Timeline & Milestone Management:

• Coordinate and track the progress of both backend and frontend teams to ensure all development efforts are moving forward according to schedule.

• Work with designers and developers to manage sprint planning and milestone tracking, ensuring on-time delivery of key project components.

• Identify potential bottlenecks or delays and proactively work with teams to resolve issues before they impact delivery.

• Risk Management:

• Identify potential project risks and work with senior management to implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and ensure smooth execution.

• Monitor project health, tracking progress, and addressing any issues or challenges promptly.

• Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Regularly update clients and stakeholders on project status, key deliverables, and progress against the timeline.

• Gather client feedback and ensure that expectations are being managed throughout the project lifecycle.

• Facilitate demo sessions or project reviews with clients to keep them informed of the ongoing progress.

• Documentation & Reporting:

• Ensure all project documentation (including requirements, design specifications, test plans, and delivery notes) is up to date and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.

• Provide weekly reports on project status, including progress against milestones, identified risks, and any blockers.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 1+ years of experience in project coordination or management in a software development environment.
3. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
4. Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
6. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
7. Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
