Marketing Manager Co-Founder

We're seeking a highly-motivated and proven content creator to drive our aggressive social media growth plan and scale our marketing reach by at least 10x over the next year. In this role, you'll spearhead the company's marketing strategy, directly manage all social media platforms you determine will best suit the organic lead-generation needs of the business, and own creative freedom all marketing content that is created. If you're someone who's familiar with the ACT/SAT, are looking for an opportunity to push your creative skills, and are determined to develop/fail/iterate/succeed on new marketing ideas, all while in an all-equity compensation environment, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Develop new marketing ideas for implementation across as many major social media platforms as deemed fit.
• Create video content on a regular basis (at least 1 YouTube video per week to be uploaded to https://youtube.com/5academy, and at least 5 short-form videos per week to be uploaded to TikTok / Shorts / Reels).
• If deemed suitable for company's marketing strategy, develop and maintain an email list to drive sales with existing leads.
• Conduct livestreams for students to engage with ACT/SAT experts and our YouTube channel.
• Create engaging thumbnails and descriptions for videos.
• Engage in brief weekly meetings

Skills

• Be creative and think outside the box from a marketing / lead-gen perspective
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Comfortable speaking on camera
• Video editing capabilities

Preferred qualifications

• Proficient understanding of the ACT/SAT and all associated sections
• ACT or SAT score in the 90th percentile or above (30+ / 1400+)

Compensation
This role is equity-based. You will receive 10% equity over the course of a 4-year vest with a 1-year cliff.
