Job Description

As a UI/UX Designer at Circuit House, your primary focus will be on crafting intuitive user interfaces for large-screen devices. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design seamless and immersive experiences that leverage the distinct advantages of large screens and remote control navigation. Your work will ensure our products are both visually appealing and user-friendly, creating delightful interactions tailored to our users’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate Cross-functionally: Work with product managers, developers, and other team members to translate project requirements and user needs into compelling interface designs.
• Design for Large Screens: Create visually appealing, intuitive user interfaces for large-screen devices, ensuring consistency with our brand identity while optimizing for the unique user experience of TV-based platforms.
• Design System Development: Contribute to or help maintain a design system, ensuring consistent visual language and interaction patterns across large-screen devices.
• Accessibility Considerations: Ensure designs are inclusive by considering accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to create experiences that are accessible to users with diverse needs.
• Create Prototypes: Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups to present design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• User Research & Testing: Conduct user research, including usability testing, to gather insights on user behaviour and identify areas for improvement in large-screen interactions.
• Intuitive Interaction and Flow Design: Create seamless navigation flows and user-friendly interactions for TV platforms, focusing on usability and ease of use with remote controls.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in UI design for large screens, and incorporate these into your work.

Requirements

• Preferably a degree in design or relevant certification, or demonstrable work experience showcasing design skills and expertise.
• Proven experience as a UI Designer, with a strong portfolio that includes work on large-screen platforms is preferable.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, particularly for large-screen devices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts clearly to stakeholders.
