Mercle was founded with the mission of creating a globally-inclusive reputation and incentive network, owned by the users. If successful, Mercle could give back ownership of user identity data back to users while preserving privacy, unlock innovation for developers and applications with fair and transparent incentives system. It will serve as a reputation layer for new internet applications.

Mercle consists of the Mercle Blockchain (a custom-developed blockchain for designing and distributing incentives secured by Ethereum as an L3 and engineered for scalability with Arbitrum Nova), a privacy-preserving identity protocol, and a decentralised computing network.

Presently our product has 100k monthly active users, growing 30% every month.

What you'll be doing

• Develop storyboards, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual design to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Collaborate with the rest of the product team to develop a roadmap of how new features and improvements will affect the user experience over time.
• Actively give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise the bar for quality.
• initiatives such as recruiting, developing design principles, and improving design tools and process

Relevant experience

• Over 2 years of product design experience in the consumer product, social, and gaming industry. This includes research, prototyping, and implementation of gamified social, user-facing applications.
• You have solved complex problems with elegant, shipped product—evidenced in an online portfolio featuring end-to-end product design.
• You demonstrate product vision and use data and experimentation to provide product direction
• You’re excellent at articulating design decisions, presenting to clients or stakeholders
• You’re effective at prototyping at varying levels of fidelity
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, analyze opportunities, define successful approaches and proactively solve problems.
• You demonstrate solid leadership skills and an ability to develop strong partnerships with product managers and engineers
