Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced UX Analyst and Researcher to drive user-centered insights across our product portfolio. With a strong foundation in research methodologies and a knack for translating findings into actionable insights, the ideal candidate will help shape exceptional user experiences. This role requires an individual who can work independently, engage with cross-functional teams, and bring forward user behavior insights that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee user research, employing methods like usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to understand business and user requirements and incorporate findings into the design process.
- Design and execute comprehensive research plans that align with business objectives and address key user needs.
- Synthesize data into clear insights and actionable recommendations, presenting findings to stakeholders in an understandable format.
- Develop UX deliverables such as personas, journey maps, and storyboards to articulate research insights.
- Introduce and utilize UX tools to facilitate usability testing and streamline research documentation.
- Continuously stay updated on UX trends and emerging tools and methods to enhance research practices.
Must-Have Skills:
- Research Methodologies: Proficiency in usability testing, surveys, and other UX research methods.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and synthesize user data into clear insights.
- Tools: Knowledge of design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- UX Documentation: Experience creating personas, journey maps, and research reports.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to present findings effectively to varied stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with design systems and UI/UX design processes.
- Worked on SaaS or AI-related products, with a strong understanding of the unique UX challenges in these domains.
- Experience in creating UX metrics and scorecard systems to quantify usability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3-4 years of experience in UX research and analysis.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating research methodologies and outcomes that positively impacted design decisions.
