Who we are:
We Are Modernizing Medicine (WAMM)! We’re a team of bright, passionate, and positive problem-solvers on a mission to place doctors and patients at the center of care through an intelligent, specialty-specific cloud platform. Our vision is a world where the software we build increases medical practice success and improves patient outcomes. Founded in 2010 by Daniel Cane and Dr. Michael Sherling, we have grown to over 3400 combined direct and contingent team members serving eleven specialties, and we are just getting started! ModMed is based in Boca Raton, FL, with office locations in Santiago, Chile, Berlin, Germany, Hyderabad, India, and a robust remote workforce with team members across the US.
Are you ready to lead the charge in a new line of business at ModMed and be at the forefront of transforming life sciences with our industry leading real-world data? We're looking for a seasoned sales leader to drive direct sales of our Real-World Data (RWD) solutions into life sciences companies and accelerate our growth in this new area. Our specialty EHR data has structured outcomes inherent for most diseases in our 11 specialties, which makes it extremely valuable to life sciences companies.
As the Executive Client Partner, Real-World Data (RWD) at ModMed, you'll be responsible for selling our innovative RWD product offerings directly to life sciences companies. This is a unique opportunity to establish and build relationships in a growing business area for ModMed, leveraging your expertise to show the value of our RWD solutions to key decision-makers in RWE, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), market access, real-world evidence (RWE), commercial, clinical trial ops, and other life sciences functions.
You will partner closely with our RWD General Manager and Vice President, Enterprise Sales to ensure that all client needs—both pre-sale and post-sale—are fully addressed. You'll take charge of the sales process from demand generation to closing deals and help expand our footprint with existing clients, executing a “land and expand” strategy.
Your Role:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, focusing on the value of ModMed’s RWD solutions.
- Drive sales from lead generation to closing, with new and existing clients in the life sciences sector, especially in HEOR, market access, commercial, clinical ops, and RWE.
- Ensure client satisfaction through the execution of data license agreements and look for opportunities to grow ModMed's presence within client organizations.
- Attend and represent ModMed at trade shows, promoting our RWD solutions and engaging with prospective and existing customers.
- Partner with internal teams such as revenue operations and support analysts to ensure a smooth sales process and high client satisfaction.
- Build brand awareness for ModMed's RWD offerings and continually look for innovative ways to meet client needs.
- Develop commercial models that align with mutual business goals and use consultative selling to demonstrate the value of ModMed's RWD.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all sales interactions in Salesforce, including client communications, quotes, and agreements.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s of Public Health preferred
- 8+ years of experience selling or marketing Real-World Data (RWD) or Real-World Evidence (RWE) to life sciences companies.
- Deep expertise in selling RWD solutions and an understanding of life sciences customers, particularly in HEOR, market access, and RWE.
- Strong network and influence within life sciences, with established relationships in HEOR, market access, and commercial areas.
- Proven consultative selling skills and the ability to communicate the value of complex data solutions to high-level stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce for managing client relationships and sales processes.
- Track record of successfully navigating long sales cycles and developing scalable solutions for life sciences clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and thrive in a new business venture.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25% and internationally 1-2x per year
