About the job
IN A NUTSHELL
At Bellroy, we pour our heart, soul, and countless design hours into helping people carry better. We delight our customers at every interaction – from our products to every touchpoint of our brand. We built Bellroy.com in-house to offer a tailored, elevated experience for our customers, and it remains the cornerstone of how we share our brand and products with the world. As we constantly look for ways to improve and iterate, we’re seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to help us grow and enhance the site.
Reporting to our Senior Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in coordinating our UX, UI, technology, and marketing teams to deliver impactful projects that elevate the Bellroy.com experience. You’ll need to be comfortable navigating between the technical and creative worlds (and the diverse personalities that come with them). You’ll work to meet the needs of internal stakeholders and ensure every project we ship enhances the experience for our customers. You’ll track key metrics, gather insights from the right teams, and analyse data to get a well-rounded picture of how our customers experience our site and what we can improve. If we don’t get it right the first time, you’re A-OK with seeking feedback and moving on to a new method for the sake of the long term goal.
Whether it’s coordinating an A/B test, enhancing the UX of our product detail pages or streamlining the checkout experience, you’ll oversee projects that make a real impact. If you share our love of great outcomes, have an appetite for constant learning, and seek better ways of doing things, you’ll fit right in at Bellroy.
YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU HAVE…
- 3-5 years experience in a related coordination role
- The ability to organise and stay on top of projects and follow them through to completion, prioritising and pushing things forward yourself, but calling on support when needed
- The willingness to collaborate and brainstorm with other teams and different minds
- A high level of comfort with technical details – you might not be a developer, but you know how a website works, and you feel comfortable learning quickly in a tech space
- An appreciation of – and eye for – great design. You might not be a designer, but you can see when something looks a bit off, and bring it to the design team’s attention
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills - you care about making sure everyone has what they need to get things done, this includes project updates, checking in on team members and keeping them on track
- Data literacy, you’re comfortable running reports and analysing data to understand what works and what doesn’t, helping to inform next steps
- A strong understanding of project management methodologies, and comfortability using various systems (familiarity with theSCRUM andShape Up methodologies, experience with CMS systems, Google Analytics and Asana would be ideal, but not essential)
A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF OUR DIGITAL PROJECT COORDINATOR MIGHT INCLUDE…
- Leading a digital content WIP meeting to check in on the progress of existing priorities, identify and resolve blockers, and provide business context on tasks where needed.
- Facilitating a project kickoff for an upcoming campaign with an agenda you’ve prepared and distributed in advance, taking careful notes and assigning action items to attendees.
- Collaborating with the creative team on the design and execution of a new campaign landing page to improve customer experiences and drive conversions.
- Working with our copywriter and ecommerce manager to prioritise and manage the implementation of high-priority SEO improvements across the website.
- Coordinating an A/B test on Bellroy.com in collaboration with the UX and data teams.
- Maintaining digital tasks in Asana, following up on deadlines, and tracking individual team member progress.
- Kicking off a new sprint as the facilitator to align the sprint team on goals, planning, and execution to meet agreed business objectives.
