Position Overview:
As the Head of Go-to-Market (GTM) at Bounce, you will own the overall strategy and execution of bringing our platform to market. You’ll develop comprehensive plans that align our sales, marketing, and product efforts to drive platform adoption and growth.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, growth-focused leader with a deep understanding of GTM strategies in the tech, SaaS, and/or the event vertical. You’ll have an ability to align teams, scale operations, and create a seamless experience for users across our platform.
What You’ll Do:
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute the GTM strategy to drive user acquisition and platform adoption across key markets, with a strong focus on college campuses and local venues.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of go-to-market initiatives.
Market Penetration: Identify and capitalize on market opportunities by defining target audience segments, value propositions, and key selling points for Bounce’s offerings.
User Acquisition & Growth: Own the strategy for user acquisition, retention, and engagement by working with the marketing team to develop campaigns, partnerships, and promotions tailored to our key audiences.
Product Positioning: Define clear messaging and product positioning that resonates with event organizers, venue partners, and end-users, ensuring consistent communication across all touchpoints.
Partnership Development: Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders such as venues, student organizations, and event planners to accelerate platform adoption.
Data-Driven Insights: Use data and analytics to optimize GTM efforts, tracking KPIs such as user growth, retention rates, and revenue targets. Adjust tactics accordingly to improve performance.
Team Building: Lead and develop a high-performing GTM team by hiring and mentoring key roles across growth, marketing, and customer success.
Customer Success: Ensure a seamless onboarding and user experience for customers, maximizing satisfaction, retention, and referrals through our platform.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in leading go-to-market strategies at a senior level, ideally within tech startups, SaaS platforms, or event-related industries.
- Proven track record of driving user growth and revenue through successful GTM initiatives, especially in new markets, offline marketplaces, or with early-stage products.
- Ability to synthesize insights from multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams, of different age groups, toward shared goals.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, sales, and product management.
- Experience in creating compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with multiple audiences.
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills and the ability to optimize GTM processes for growth and efficiency.
- Previously demonstrated bias to action and relentless pursuit of improvement.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly, take ownership, and drive impact in a fast-paced startup environment.
