Job Overview:
Clerq is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Texas. In this role, you’ll focus on lead generation and expanding our client base among auto dealerships across the state. You’ll play a pivotal role in growing our presence and providing dealerships with an innovative, cost-saving payment solution. This is a remote, field-based position requiring frequent travel within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate leads through cold calling and networking, but mostly through outbound sales and dealership visits.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients in the auto industry.
Educate dealership owners and managers on Clerq’s payment solutions and how it reduces costs and streamlines payments.
Conduct product demonstrations and consultations to highlight the benefits of our product.
Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Track and manage leads, opportunities, and sales activity in our CRM.
Achieve and exceed sales targets by closing new business with franchise and independent dealerships.
Qualifications:
Must be located in Texas
Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in B2B environments (experience in the automotive or payments industry is a plus).
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build rapport and develop relationships with potential clients.
Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Comfortable with travel within the Texas region.
Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
