Position Summary:
Upnyx Innovative Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Recruiter Intern to join our Human Resources team. This unpaid internship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in IT recruitment and talent acquisition. As an IT Recruiter Intern, you will assist in sourcing, screening, and onboarding top tech talent for various positions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, and professional networks).
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Collaborate with the HR team to understand hiring needs and develop job descriptions for various IT roles.
- Maintain and update the recruitment database with candidate information and progress.
- Assist in the management of job postings across multiple platforms, ensuring accurate and engaging content.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Support the HR team in organizing and participating in virtual career fairs and other recruitment events.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of offer letters and onboarding materials for selected candidates.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in IT recruitment and share insights with the HR team.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in IT recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn and other job boards for candidate sourcing.
- Basic understanding of the IT industry and various technical roles.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
