Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Director of AESA Radar Technologies to lead our advanced radar system projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in the design, development, and deployment of Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems, along with a deep understanding of other cutting-edge radar technologies. This role involves strategic leadership, technical innovation, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept through to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

1. Direct and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists in the development of AESA radar systems and associated technologies.
2. Oversee all phases of project development, from requirements definition and design to testing, validation, and deployment.

Technical Expertise:

1. Lead the design and development of AESA radar systems, focusing on RF engineering, antenna design, signal processing, and radar system architecture.
2. Utilize simulation tools such as AWR Microwave Office, Keysight's ADS, and CST Studio Suite for antenna design and electromagnetic analysis.
3. Implement advanced signal processing techniques, including adaptive beamforming, Doppler processing, and clutter suppression.
4. Drive the integration of GaN-based MMICs, phased-array calibration, and system-level optimization.

Project Management:

1. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer requirements.
2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and systems engineering.
3. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

1. Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Radar Systems Engineering, or a closely related field with a focus on radar technologies.

Experience:

1. At least 10 years of experience in AESA radar system development, including hands-on design, simulation, and testing.
2. Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects within tight deadlines.
3. Extensive experience with radar system simulation tools such as AWR Design Environment, CST Microwave Studio, and MATLAB for signal processing and algorithm development.

Technical Skills:

1. Deep understanding of RF front-end design, including power amplifiers, phase shifters, and T/R modules.
2. Expertise in phased-array antenna design, digital beamforming, and radar waveform development.
3. Proficiency in system integration, including RF chain calibration, thermal management, and EMC/EMI compliance.

Leadership & Communication:

1. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on fostering teamwork and driving innovation.
2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong track record of delivering results on time and within budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in defense or aerospace industries.
2. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for radar systems.
3. Experience with international collaborations and managing global projects.
