As we prepare for our product launch, we are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. This role is equity-based for the initial period and offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in our growth strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in the FinTech or crypto sectors (experiance in the DeFi sector is a huge plus)
- Strong understanding of digital economies, blockchain, and Web3 technologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and business opportunities
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- A network of contacts in the FinTech industry is a strong plus
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships in the digital asset ecosystem
- Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with DERA’s goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and investors
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align business development efforts with overall company strategy
- Negotiate and close deals that contribute to the growth and scalability of the company
- Track and report on business development activities and outcomes
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth

Important: This role is initially part-time and compensated solely with equity for the first three months as we prepare for the product launch. After three months, there may be opportunities for a paid position, depending on company needs and performance.
