Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer with a strong background in frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, Next.js, and JavaScript. This role is crucial in driving our growth by focusing on integrating various third-party applications with our platform, overseeing the implementation of our Customer Data Platform (CDP) Segment, and leading data strategy initiatives. You will manage pre-existing code and ensure the seamless integration of new marketing initiatives, proper attribution tracking, and data visualization.
The role requires someone who can work independently, manage technical integrations effectively, and clearly communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders. While coding will be part of the role, the focus will be more on managing integrations and optimizing existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Integrations:
Integrate various third-party software applications with our platform, including tools such as Intercom, Ambassador, Omnisend, Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, and GTM.
Manage and optimize existing code to ensure smooth and efficient integrations.
Ensure that all integrations are secure, reliable, and scalable to support company growth.
Customer Data Platform (CDP) Implementation:
Maintain and build upon the foundation of Segment as our CDP.
Configure Segment for effective data collection and processing.
Develop workflows within Segment to enhance data accuracy and streamline integrations.
Data Strategy and Analysis:
Design and implement data strategies to gain insights into patient and customer behavior.
Develop and manage dashboards using Google Looker to provide actionable insights.
Utilize Google BigQuery for maintaining an organized and scalable data warehouse.
Marketing Attribution and Initiative Integration:
Ensure proper integration of new marketing initiatives with existing systems.
Implement and manage attribution tracking to measure marketing campaign effectiveness.
Create and organize UTM parameters across multiple marketing channels to track campaign performance and effectiveness.
Develop visualizations and reports to communicate marketing impact to non-technical team members.
Operational Monitoring and Maintenance:
Monitor daily operations to ensure all systems and integrations function smoothly.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, minimizing disruptions and maintaining system efficiency.
UX/UI Focus:
Ensure user interfaces are designed to provide a seamless and intuitive experience.
Align technical solutions with best practices in UX/UI design.
Performance Optimization:
Optimize web applications and integrations for improved performance, including load times and scalability.
Implement strategies to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop and execute testing strategies to ensure the reliability and stability of integrations and systems.
Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests as necessary.
Project Management:
Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through delivery
Collaborate with the CEO, and other stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with business objectives.
Documentation and Training:
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for ongoing development and system maintenance.
Provide training to team members on technical aspects and processes to support effective knowledge transfer.
Continuous Improvement:
Introduce innovative ideas and continuously improve systems and processes.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to keep our technical infrastructure cutting-edge.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Lead Developer or in a similar role, ideally in the telemedicine or digital health space.
Strong frontend skills in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and JavaScript.
Experience with Google BigQuery for data warehousing and Google Looker for dashboard development.
Experience with integrating third-party applications and managing pre-existing code.
Experience with Bask Health or similar software preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage technical integrations effectively.
Strong communication skills to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in writing technical documentation.
Hands-on experience with the software tools mentioned above.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards is a plus.
