Our mission is to create a loving environment for every animal and to work towards the elimination of kill shelters, animal abuse, and the destruction of their habitats.

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer Intern to join our team. You will be responsible for creating an intuitive and visually appealing online experience for our users, ensuring that our mission and values are clearly conveyed through our website.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with our design team (specifically the founding engineer and CEO) to implement challenging, interactive and visually appealing designs.
Create a design system, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
Establish design guidelines for the company, build a detailed design system implementing design best practices and standards.

Skills and Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

Proven UX/UI experience with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in Figma for rapid prototyping.
Knowledge of design systems.
Strong visual design skills with a good understanding of user-system interaction.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications:

Experience with Adobe Photoshop
Experience with Canva

Compensation
Compensation will be college credit and can turn into a full time position as we grow. This can lead to a full time job.
