Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Gridspace product offerings and become intimately familiar with their impact on customers, their place among competitors, and their user benefits.
- Some travel may be required
- The candidate will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities
- Responsibilities will span from driving the sales process from internal leads to qualifying new prospects and managing deals to closure
- Close new business through working qualified inbound & outbound sales opportunities
- Provide prospect/customer feedback to Product & Marketing teams
- Meet / exceed quarterly goals
- Competive pay with commission
Qualifications
- Professional experience selling into large organizations
- Must be comfortable with cold calling
- Good planning, research and organizational skills
- Comfortable with selling complex enterprise platform solutions, understanding of ML business value, and success with software sales
- Demonstrated success by exceeding quota on a consistent basis
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- Responsible for new customer acquisition and driving new revenue for a specific territory or vertical market
- Ideally, you also have experience selling to a technical and business audience, building trust and mutual respect with technical customers and peers
- You are passionate about what you do and you are able to think creatively
- You have great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ideally, some previous experience selling cloud/enterprise and ML-based solutions
- Able to create proposals, negotiate terms and manage the contract process
- You’re ready to bring your skills to a startup
- You are customer centric, and results oriented
- A track record of exceeding 100% quota in a competitive sales environment
- Strong understanding of business technical requirements, challenges and existing technology stacks
- You are team oriented, and you also take ownership and can get results independently
- Efficient activity prioritization and independent decision making are critical skills
