Propeller typically steps in when firms outgrow basic bookkeeping and start to require more sophisticated financial planning and analysis but can't yet rationalize the hiring of 2-3 full-time people to manage all of it. We're responsible for everything a full-time CFO would manage and we use outside CPA firms to do income tax and/or audit work. This keeps us focused on building the business while giving you one point of accountability -- just as you would have with a full-time CFO. As the company scales, we'll help you hire full-time financial staff and gradually phase ourselves out (that typically takes 3-5 years). Until then, whether it’s defending the financial plan in board meetings or processing payables, we can handle everything.
