About Us:
In Sales Academy is a consulting company that offers lead generation services for software development companies globally via cold outreach. We excel in the software development lead gen niche and are now looking for a Head of Research to elevate our lead research processes and results for clients.

Who We Are Looking For:
We seek a proactive and experienced Head of Research to manage our team of freelance researchers and ensure the high quality of the output data. You should be highly organized, a strong communicator in English, and adept at multitasking. Experience in a researcher or research team lead capacity within a B2B setting and management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
● Oversee research targets and ensure timely delivery.
● Identify and evaluate potential companies for lead generation using various tools
such as Crunchbase, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc., in alignment with the provided
target industries and locations.
● Suggest titles/people that should be researched and adjustments to the existing and
proposed targets based on market data.
● Manage, mentor, and communicate with freelancers, ensuring high-quality output.
● Create research process instructions for the freelancers based on the task at hand.
● Engage in day-to-day research tasks for demanding projects (up to 50% of your work
time).
● Develop and implement strategies to enhance research processes.
● Act as the intermediary between the internal In Sales Academy team and the
freelancers.
● Transfer data received from freelancers to SDRs.
● Conduct regular feedback sessions with the SDR team to assess the quality of the
researched data and address any issues with the freelancers.
● Proactively improve our research process, explore new tools, and develop
playbooks.
● Stay updated on lead generation research trends.
● Report to the CEO and Head of Delivery on research performance, improvements,
and challenges.
Requirements:
● Proven experience in lead generation research, ideally in a B2B agency setting, with at least 2 years of experience.
● Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. All our communication takes place in English (on calls and Slack), so good language skills are necessary.
● Strong management and multitasking abilities.
● Attestation to detail.
● Experience managing a research team is preferred.
● Familiarity with various research tools (e.g., Crunchbase, Apollo, Sales Navigator,
SalesQL, Prosperi, ZoomInfo).
● An in-depth understanding of lead generation processes and funnel management is
an advantage.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
