About The Role:
Business Development Representative (BDR): They hunt and qualify new opportunities before setting up demo calls with the AE team
As a Business Development Representative, you will be reporting to the Head of Sales and your mission will be to drive the business acquisition across China. This is a key role for the organization as we want to be seen as one of the engines to drive the business growth in China.
- Reach out to prospects to qualify leads for Aspire’s solutions through a combination of emails, calls, and other outreach activities
- Schedule demos and meetings between Account Executives and potential clients
- Keep a clean record of activities via our CRM tools
- Provide market feedback and contribute to Aspire’s development
You would excel in this role if:
- Hustle is your default mode - We’re looking for someone driven. If you feel like you’ve got something to prove and you have a competitive streak, you’d do well in this role.
- You’re curious & eager to learn - A natural and genuine interest in understanding your prospect and their processes, combined with a continuous learning mindset in regards to the market and the product; the most successful BDRs in Aspire have these qualities in spades.
- You’re articulate - We’re looking for an effective communicator. Someone who listens, structures their message, and delivers it in an impeccable manner.
- You’re methodical & organized - A BDR would have multiple sequences running in parallel, s/he would take part in various mini-projects/battles, while keeping an eye on key deals. If you have problems with prioritization, you could easily feel overwhelmed.
- You have high work ethics - You’re in sales. You have targets. Grit is a must.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 1+ years of work experience, preferably in a metrics-driven sales environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks, especially informed by data
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to develop a career providing financial technology solution to top companies in their various industries
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HubSpot, Outreach and other CRM / sales tools
- Experience working in payment, banking, financial, consulting companies
- Proven record of success
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
