TapTab (https://taptabapp.com) is a cutting-edge software and mobile platform that is inventing the future of the restaurant discovery, and we’re looking for a great team member to help us create that future. Specifically, we're looking for a Sales Development Representative who is an ambitious self-starter who knows how to persuade, persist and ultimately close deals in order to bring TapTab's product to more restaurants and rapidly grow its sales.

If you're interested in gaining excellent experience, and joining and earning equity in an exciting, emerging startup with an amazing product and great sales assets, then this is a perfect role for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use lead generation techniques to identify restaurant prospects and customers
  • Email and follow up with leads using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Contact and follow up with prospects through LinkedIn
  • Make sales calls to prospects
  • Respond to customer questions about product and pricing
  • Maintain updated database of leads, prospects and customers by inputting customer profile information, relevant updates and sales data into CRM

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of sales experience
  • Understanding of the sales process
  • Ability to listen, persist and persuade
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including telephone and in-person skills

BONUS SKILLS

  • Experience in SaaS sales
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM
  • Background in restaurant and/or hospitality software sales
  • Knowledge of restaurant industry
  • Passion for and interest in startups
