German Speaking Operations Team Member - Remote International Team - Make Travel About People Not Just Places (Clone)

Lokafy connects travellers with locals, called Lokafyers - for an experience that’s like having a friend who shows you around their city. We're based in Toronto but we’re expanding quickly to cities all over the world, from Cape Town to Hong Kong and everywhere in between (over 300 cities). The Operations role is the key to growth and scale at Lokafy since you would have the biggest impact on the experience we provide to Lokafyers and travellers.

What you'll do:

• Work with an remote international team to organize tours, recruit new Lokafyers (locals) and get feedback after the tours.
• Manage tours and bookings, providing seamless experience to travelers and Lokafyers.
• Staying on top of urgent booking management
•Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and participate in product development
•some of the tasks include communicating with travellers and Lokafyers through email, phone and messaging and managing bookings
• Support other teams whenever required( recruiting Lokafyers)

We'd love to work with someone who...

• has great communication skills (both written and verbal, especially verbal)
• loves to talk to people and get to know them
• is efficient, reliable and able to work independently
• is continuously learning
• is resourceful (able to figure stuff out by researching online)
• takes pride in their work and enjoys challenges
• English fluency is a must and if you also speak another language, especially German.

Please note: The salary indicated on Angel is annual. The compensation is $350-525 USD per month (325-500 EUR per month). This is a remote position intended for people based in countries with low cost of living.
