In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products, aligning with Pipedrive’s mission to proactively identify and solve problems before they reach our customers. Your new adventure:
- Develop a comprehensive QA strategy, align it with Pipedrive's goals for preventive problem identification and solutions, and ensure it complements the broader company vision and business objectives Subsequently, roll out the strategy across the entire organization
- Work with the Customer Facing teams, Design, Product, Support, and Engineering teams to create and enforce clear quality standards for the whole organization, assigning roles to ensure everyone understands and maintains product quality across all departments
- Develop systems that improve transparency and oversight within the QA process, emphasizing early problem detection and data-driven decision-making
- Establish and track key quality metrics and OKRs to evaluate the effectiveness of our QA strategies
- Ensure ongoing visibility into product quality to identify trends and facilitate informed decision-making
- Regularly report on quality metrics to stakeholders, including developers, management, and other relevant teams
- Set up and continuously improve quality gates and automate testing procedures to confirm that software meets quality standards before deployment
- Lead the implementation and adoption of testing tools and frameworks to improve product development process efficiency and incorporate quality checks and automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to optimize operations
- Foster a culture of ongoing improvement by sharing insights from post mortems and case studies and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to seamlessly incorporate these best practices into everyday workflows
- Build and lead a high-performing QA team, ensuring successful outcomes by indirectly guiding up to 40 people across the organization
Does this sound like you?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and industry best practices
- Experience with QA strategy development and implementation
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional collaborations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with creating key quality OKRs and enforcing quality standards across multiple departments
- Experience in developing systems for transparency, oversight, and early problem detection
- Results-driven mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality products on time
