LLM Researcher

We're looking for a passionate, resourceful and collaborative LLM researcher to join Aival. If you are motivated about leveraging AI to make healthcare more efficient and accessible, we want to hear from you! Start date: 01 April 2024

Responsibilities

We're looking for a researcher focused on language models for radiology. You will be responsible for developing and fine-tuning language models for automated radiology report understanding, as well as developing methods to test the efficacy of these products in limited data scenarios. We have concrete near-term goals but, in the longer run, you will have the opportunity to lead the language R&D function within the company.

This work will focus on ensuring the safety of deployed AI systems that can truly benefit healthcare systems worldwide.

Requirements

• Core machine learning ability, evidenced by e.g. (not exhaustive): publications in leading conferences, former experience at established research labs, contributions to open-source projects or other
• MSc in Computer Science / Machine Learning / Physics / Engineering or related field (PhD preferred)
• Python and relevant ML frameworks
• Past experience of either: NLP/LLM development or medical imaging
