Kanwal founded Aival in 2020 after 15 years in the Medical Imaging AI Industry. Having completed her PhD in Medical Imaging AI in 2007, she thereafter worked in academia, industry and startups translating novel algorithms to positive patient impact. She founded Aival to bridge the gap between AI developers and clinical adoption and facilitate effective and fair AI for all. She is passionate about innovation and bringing research from the lab to patient benefit.
