Position Summary:
We are seeking a Director/General Manager of Operations for our India office, a role pivotal to our expansion and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the COO in the United States, you will initially lead a team of six, with the objective to grow the team to 15 by Q2 2024. Overall, you will be instrumental in scaling the entire India team, encompassing engineering, customer success, and operations, to a total of 50 members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically lead and scale the operations team, focusing on talent acquisition, people operations, and HR.
• Expertly manage OKRs and KPIs to align with company goals and ensure operational efficiency.
• Drive the team from its current strength of 6 to 15, while contributing to the overall growth of the India team to 50 members.
• Implement and refine operational processes to maximize effectiveness and productivity.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture with strong emphasis on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with global leadership to ensure strategic alignment and seamless operations across borders.
• Be a proactive and dynamic leader, capable of thriving in a startup environment with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operational leadership within a startup or dynamic business setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in setting and managing OKRs and KPIs.
• Strong track record in team leadership and talent development.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effective cross-cultural and international collaboration.
• Startup experience is highly valued, showcasing the ability to scale operations and teams rapidly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the tech or AI sector, particularly in talent acquisition technologies.
• Established network within the Indian startup or tech community.
