*About the Leadership Development Training Program *

The leadership development program at Jetzy is our flagship program for training and developing aspiring professionals and future leaders. Selected trainees are given the opportunity to work alongside Jetzy’s management team on various high level projects. After the completion of their training period, Candidates will receive a certificate of completion of the program. Best performing candidates could receive opportunities to work at Jetzy or a recommendation which could land them a position at prominent firms. Many of our previous trainees were either hired by Jetzy or got positions at firms like Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, etc. In summary, this is an initiative of Jetzy to train the candidates thoroughly so they can handle any type of jobs in the specific area they are working in, by involving the candidate in high level projects.

*About the Product Trainee Position *

The Product Development Trainee position provides an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge & leadership experience in the domain of product development. The Product Development Trainees will be responsible for internalizing and articulating the needs of customers. They will be responsible for supporting the app development and assisting with ongoing technology work. The Trainees will serve as a medium between the user and engineers, to understand the user's demands and requirements and communicate these effectively to the Engineering team to help improve the app. They will assist not only in solving technical development choices but also in making design decisions about features. This is an incredible opportunity to be on the ground with a startup from the inception of the product and gain the in-depth entrepreneurial skill set. This opportunity is for both full-time & part-time work in New York or remote from any city/country. The length of this program is 1 year and complete dedication and attention is required to remain in this program. The program can be managed easily part time alongside a college/university degree curriculum.

• Manage the product enhancement and new feature development process from concept to launch and beyond
• Building and maintaining the roadmap for new products/features development and ensuring all development connects to business goals and customer feedback
• To create and sustain a Product Specification Document consisting of Product features, designs and items, and guidelines pertaining to the app
• Gathering and analyzing customer data to improve app functionality
• Researching similar products to understand the competitive landscape and new trends in the market, pertaining to app development and user preferences
• Researching best systems and solutions to supplement our technology platform and understand ongoing developments in the technology space
• Setting the product strategy, prioritizing features, building consensus, and coordinating product schedules with design and engineering teammates.
• Maintain a log of all product related, and technology points raised during meetings and follow up on those points with engineers
• Be responsible for manual and automated App testing
• Coordinate with the marketing team to increase the user engagement and promotions
• Driving the product’s vision for Jetzy across iOS and Android

*An ideal candidate for this position will have: *

• Excellent leadership skills and ability to communicate well with the others
• Organizing, research and time management skills
• Experience in App development and proficiency in UX, UI is preferred not required
• Understanding IT function, candidates with experience or knowledge of app development in
• Flutter and languages such as React, Elixir, and experience in AWS, Postgres etc. is preferred
• Able to meet tight deadlines
• Superior problem-solving skills – must be resourceful and creative with solutions
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
