WHO WE ARE
We are a virtual reality language learning platform called Gabb Global. www.gabbglobal.com We are looking for a 3D artist that can help us create characters and 3D environments that make for engaging language learning experiences for students across the country. We are a team of 13. We want to launch our app in March, and we are doing pilots at UC Davis right now. Our mission at Gabb Global is to develop the best education in the world and make it universally available. With over 500 pilot users, we strive to become the most popular language-learning application in the world. But we have got more left to do — and that is where you come in!
You will help create and define cohesive, high-visibility branding projects tied to increasing brand awareness and equity. We are a multilingual, diverse group of people who work in small, cross-functional teams to create the world's first gamification and virtual reality language learning app. From composing landing pages to collaborating closely with our marketing team on innovative projects, you will have the opportunity to work on brand projects and marketing campaigns that push Gabb's mission forward, help us become an iconic brand, and transform the future of education. You’ll work with our front and back end team to tackle unique Gabb Global's technical challenges ! You will work with a fun and diverse team to build intelligent software used by hundreds of students in California.
COMPENSATION
You will be paid hourly at 15 USD per hour as a retro pay.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Model and texture characters and environments for multiple styles of play
- Collaborate with designer and engineers to create the look and feel of our products

WHO YOU ARE
As a 3D artist, you can model anything and everything. You are in school or starting a career in product design. Since we're still growing, we need someone who can make the world, character, textures, and light and animate the whole scene! You might wear many hats, but at the end of the day, you're a doer, like us. You've spent some hours honing your artistic skills - degrees are pleasant, but portfolios speak volumes. You're at your best when working with others. You're not afraid to speak up, take critique, or push for and take ownership of something you passionately believe in. You're someone who wants to take creative risks and enjoys solving problems. You're a passionate gamer yourself and understand how the aesthetic and fiction of a game can be just as impactful as the core game loop, and you enjoy playing games when you can
