About the role:
Join us as we partner with the nations top rated hospital system to close care gaps via a first of its kind completely Virtual Comprehensive Care Clinic. We are looking for full-time, Bi-lingual Spanish and English speaking Primary Care physicians who will deliver fully remote text and video based, comprehensive clinical care encompassing preventive care, sick visits, and chronic condition management. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with your patients, representing K Health and our clinical partners, while providing world class remote care. The ideal candidate must be licensed in CA, have a board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and be comfortable practicing the full spectrum of comprehensive care, including mental health. Work from the comfort of your own home and deliver care to those who need it the most, backed by K Health's cutting edge Clinical AI Platform. Our virtual clinic is fully supported 24/7 by a dedicated team of Care Concierge, Clinical Operations, and technical support staff helping to greatly reduce your administrative burden.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage a dedicated panel of patients as their primary care physician
- Educate patients on appropriate treatments and care plans for their health needs
- Manage patient follow ups for chronic care programs
- Prescribe and refill medication as appropriate
- Drive high quality care with a focus on patient outcomes
- Elevate remote care by providing compassionate and meaningful patient patient encounters
- Collaborate with Clinical Team Members to build clinical guidelines and policies
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of post residency work experience
- Active CA State Medical License
- Board-Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Primary care and behavioral health experience, ability to treat both acute and chronic care conditions
- Should be tech-savvy, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and have telemedicine experience
- Clean background and medical malpractice history
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Willing to commit 40 hours per week, including two weekend days a month
