Tech Leader

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Tech Leader, you will be the driving force behind our technical infrastructure and development efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

• Technical Development: Taking charge of end-to-end technical development, ensuring smooth and efficient implementation of software solutions based on our Javascript-based stack (NextJs, NodeJs) and Python.
• Deployment and Security: Overseeing the deployment process and implementing robust security measures to safeguard our systems and data.
• Cost Management: Identifying opportunities to leverage Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) to keep tech-related costs to a minimum while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Team Coordination: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical initiatives with business objectives, providing technical guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Single-Handed Management: Independently managing the entire tech infrastructure and development process, taking ownership of projects from inception to successful completion.
• Technology Exploration: Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the tech industry, and exploring ways to incorporate them into our stack to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in Javascript-based technologies like NextJs and NodeJs, as well as Python.
• Proven track record in technical leadership and project management, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of deploying and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure web applications.
• Familiarity with FOSS and a demonstrated ability to optimize tech-related costs without compromising quality.
• Proficient in handling cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and result-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
